As the namesake of the company, Robin Brown has earned the honor of leading the business that bears her name. When you first meet her, you'll discover that Robin is not your typical CPA. She's kind-hearted, dedicated and considerate, but also has an amazing wit and intellect that enables her to digest even the most complex issues.
As an entrepreneur, Robin brings personal experience and understanding to client service. She attributes her entrepreneurial spirit to growing up on a dairy farm in rural south central Kentucky.
Robin and her husband, Steven, are parents to triplets, including a son and two daughters. She is active in her church, teaching Sunday school toddlers after serving three-year terms on both the Executive Board and Finance Committee, with two years as the Chairman.

I'm an avid LSU fan and am athletically inclined myself. I run, kick-box and find other high adrenaline activities to deplete my A-type energy.

Ellen Binnings has worked on both sides of the desk, spending nearly half of her career as an accounting manager with a large corporation. Later, she worked in SEC reporting and investor relations before implementing Sarbanes Oxley standards at a publically traded company. Being a client after working for a Big Four firm directly influences how she serves Robin Brown & Associates clients today.
As a Senior Manager in charge of Audits, Reviews, and Compilations, Ellen is not only involved in the annual A&A engagements, she also plays a pivotal role in many of our clients' monthly and quarterly accounting processes. Her strengths lie in being exceptionally detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture.
She and her husband, Nick, have three children, so she truly enjoys a work-life balance at RB&A that provides high-level intellectual satisfaction without constant focus on billable hours.

Accounting is in my blood…my Dad, brother, and sister are all CPAs. With our triplets and a daughter, we're watching our kids to see who will be the third generation of accountants from our family!

When Mary Andrews first met Robin Brown, both were involved in a Triplets Group. They bonded almost immediately and quickly discovered a shared passion for the accounting profession. A few years later, they decided they should work together.
Mary truly enjoys analyzing a problem or issue and finding a solution. She's especially gifted at thinking two steps ahead of her client while evaluating how an issue may impact them and their business. An extrovert, Mary thrives from the personal interface with her clients and colleagues, and has formed many of her closest friendships through her work.
Mary is a competitive tennis player who also loves to play cards and has the unique ability to memorize numbers—a huge asset for winning at cards and being successful in her work. If there are any spare moments, she'll pick up a suspense novel.

I believe it was destiny that brought me to work with Robin. We think alike and share many of the same beliefs.

Tricia Beiers applies her natural love for numbers and finite results to help her clients know what lies ahead for them. Being extremely detail-oriented and structured is a great asset to the business. Like others on the Robin Brown & Associates team, Tricia is another one with experience on both sides of the desk. In fact, she spent the first part of her accounting career running the accounting office of a large golf course and pro shop.
Tricia finds working with Robin and her team to be an amazing experience. She appreciates their deep friendships, mutual respect and mostly, the incredible flexibility—all perfect ingredients for fun, laughter and fulfillment during the workday.
Tricia and her husband, Todd, have four children—yes, another set of triplets (two girls and a boy) plus a big brother, and her family is very involved with their church. For fun, Tricia loves golf and enjoys riding bicycles with her children. She also tap dances!

I began working in an accounting firm when I was 15 years old. This is all I have ever done, and I love every aspect of it. The people I work with are friends, not just colleagues. This critical ingredient only adds depth and greater value to all that we do together.
For Amy Sexton, it's all about building relationships with her colleagues and clients, as the more interpersonal aspects of our work bring her great joy. She sees helping clients achieve their objectives and succeed in their businesses as the best and most meaningful work.
Amy is deeply committed to her daughter, Hannah; as a widow, her parenting role has taken on a deeper and more unique meaning. Amy is active in Passion City Church and writes Christian literature in her spare time.
